Experiencing drama theatre for the first time | #DailyBlink21

According to Superprof:

“The term ‘drama’ comes from an ancient Greek verb meaning ‘to do’ or ‘to act’, and this is when it all began for the tradition. Come to think of it, the literal meaning of this word is very apt in describing the activity, yet the word has evolved over time to offer different meanings since its beginning. For example, in today’s world, the word ‘drama’ is normally associated with situations that involve a conflict of emotions.

Among all other thoughts, something I have been thinking a lot was drama is such an effective way to get your message across. It connects with you at an emotional level and somewhere I found it a lot more interesting than watching movies on screen. No doubt, that is the most advanced we have available today but somewhere I felt drama is more significant even though it had so many limitations but that's where your creativity kicks in. You try to express your art in a different form and you feel like decoding the metaphor from every scene.

The title of the Drama was “The Butterfly Effect”

The story revolves around a person who wakes up in the morning, travels around the forest, travels to far villages, meeting tribes, making new friends and becoming a part of their community until getting caught by the army of a kingdom. Suddenly one day, the people of the tribe came to rescue their new member and the member refused to go back on a request of the king of the kingdom in the exchange of the offer for becoming the new king of that kingdom.

I enjoyed it througholy, it was indeed a well-directed play by the director, Dr Mrinal Jyoti Goswami. He is an associate professor in the Department of Assamese, Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University. Must appreciate the hard work behind this magical play. On researching more about them. No less than an achievement for them.

He also has a Youtube Channel.

The Internet can be amazing when you have an intention behind it to learn about new things and make yourself enlighted.

I have been always very fond of group activities. Most of the learnings I had in my life was from this only. Be it games, projects, activities, parades. It teaches some wonderful life lessons like empathy, compassion, kindness, cooperation, unity, discipline which is quite important for you to lead a life and so it successfully passes from generation to generation.

Well, it all about time. Every one of us has a different bandwidth to learn new things, processing and applying in our day to day life. I believe, time is the greatest teacher and its because of time, we as a being exist on this planet.

Learning more about the history of drama and play. I came across this amazing platform Superprof.
