Let’s rebuild the cities of India.
Hypothesis: A country is divided into states and states are further divided into cities. A city is economically shaped by all the large, small companies operating in that city. A company is again built by the people either of that own city or from another city.
But how many people know about those large or big companies, enterprises or startups operating in their city or the other cities of the country?
- Isn’t it really important for a person looking for jobs?
2. Isn’t really important for a graduate to really know where he will be working after her/his graduation?
3. Isn’t this really important for a graduate to understand the real aspect of his knowledge prior to entering the market?
4. Isn’t this important for a graduate to have an understanding of the real-life application of the skillset to be required in a company before her/his graduation?
While building KiwisMedia, it is going to be our topmost priority to solve this problem. We will try to reduce the gaps between a company and a candidate applying for jobs along with being more transparent about the existing process. Our prime target will be the tier-2, tier-3 tier-4 cities of India which are often witnessed by the number of graduates coming out into the market every year with confusions to apply for jobs in a company.
The existing market is dominant by the job aggregators and the private job consultancy firm which literally apply unethical techniques to grab out money form the candidates. This kind of practices is highly encouraged by the candidates itself who are willing to do what they are adviced mostly by paying hefty amounts in the name of deposit money or caution money.
Are we as a generation is failing to solve this kind of problems happening in the market without being noticed by any media or govt?
Currently, these are a few ways for any graduate passing out of college:
- Govt Jobs
- MLM or Network Marketing
- Private Tutor
- School Teachers
- Family Business
I come from a tier 3 city of India, hence I’ve been all through this. Forget job satisfaction by any private company when there are none to provide jobs to these graduates passing out from colleges in lakhs. And the sad part is the number is getting dramatically larger with passing time.
We need more startups in the market to solve the problems of unemployment. Startups that focuses on the fundamental need of society. Startups that focuses on solving these fundamental problems through innovation. I believe, the youth are the key asset of this country and somehow their contributions and thought process has to be channelized.
