It was the second year of my college life when I took reading seriously and started making time for it. I remember “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” was the first book that gave me spark to continue. It was the time when I was learning about how money works.

I had a simple question in mind. If I need money, why ain't I’m learning how it works. We all struggle with it yet we don’t discuss more about it. Unfortunately, it is considered as a taboo in our society.

I was thinking, if I have to make some tough decisions regarding my future, I need to think ahead of time and think about solving this money problem first. Money to buy food, shelter, and support my works. Then only the decisions will be solely mine. And it wasn’t going to happen overnight. I had to start early.

Ever since everything has changed I couldn’t have ever imagined of. Because of that decision to add “reading” an integral part of my life. I was even blessed to receive books gifts from my close ones in this short period of time.

Influenced by how a ‘book’ can create impact and change your perspective towards life, I thought of evangelizing about books to others. Sometimes by giving away, sometimes in the form gifts, but then again realized everyone has their own time for realizations in life. You cannot force this beautiful process of self-realization.

Self-realization cannot be imposed, it comes from within. Mostly in a way you want for yourself. You cannot, however, decide the benchmarks for others. It’s all a matter of time. Time is a wonderful thing for that.

Be it in the form of hardcopy or softcopy, I have always prioritized knowledge & learning over a lot of other things at my age. Learning new things is indeed super euphoric. You cannot define in words, however.

Friends, I know you all busy but consider making time for reading. Reading will change your brain biology forever. It’s still an ultra-transformational life hack for me.

One person who has inspired me the most for reading: Tai Lopez

How can you refuse to read a book written by a successful person who has documented all the best learning of their life in a book?

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope you find it helpful. Say Hi 👋 Twitter Instagram. I’d love to connect.
