We’re in a networked age | Weekly Blink 03
Book, I have been reading: Blitzscaling. We’re in a networked age. And not only the internet. Globalization is a form of network. It adds networks of transport, commerce, payment, and information flows around the world. In such an environment, you have to move faster, because competition from anywhere on the globe may beat you to scale. One month seems to be less to digest the content in this book.
Things I was excited for: KiwisMedia has made its first official sponsorship as an “Associate Partner” on the popular cultural event going to take place at Agartala. Was really looking forward to meeting people and explore the uncharted.
Experiments I’m continuing: Spending at least 1 hour everyday on Twitter. Twitter is a nutshell of information, observations, learning from the best minds on this planet.
Startup I found quite interesting: Wizcounsel. An Indian startup finally came up with a solution to solve the problem of legal matters in an efficient way. With tech they have completely automated the system where you can track your work with full proof payment assurance. Never thought, there could be something which can be the “Fiverr” of legal works. A well-planned website with rich user experience and navigations, one could easily fall for.
Quote I’m Pondering: Surround yourself with people who are better than you. If you’re concerned that they’ll outshine you, it’s a clear sign that you’re not founder material. -@reidhoffman
